I got the Vanagon (it's an 1987 Vanagon GL Wolfsburg Edition, 1 owner, 67k original miles) back in December. Perhaps my dad got the maiden voyage. He drove it from Altanta, GA to Durango, CO right before Christmas. I had traded a buddy a little bit of work for the Vanagon.
Anyhow, Meaghan, Caleb and I loaded up the van and took it to Sedona, AZ and Lake Havasu, AZ for Meaghan's spring break. We did 8 nights in the van and it was a total blast. Caleb, our little guy, loved the van. I think he just loved being so close and spending so much time with mom and dad. Here's some pictures from the journey.
